Experienced Industry Professional Joins Octoplay as Director of Business Development

Malta, 6th February 2023 – Games development company, Octoplay, announces the appointment of Ralitsa Georgieva as its new Director of Business Development. Ms. Georgieva, who previously held the position of Head of Commercials at Yolo Group, will play a pivotal role in the growth of Octoplay in regulated markets.

Ms. Georgieva has previously worked with Octoplay's CEO, Carl Ejlertsson, at Red Tiger, and her in-depth understanding of operator requirements and expectations make her an invaluable asset to the team.

In commenting on her appointment, Mr. Ejlertsson said, "Ralitsa is an incredibly talented and knowledgeable individual, and we are thrilled to have her on the team. She is well-connected in the industry and has a deep understanding of what we are striving to achieve at Octoplay."

Octoplay recently launched Penguin King, its second in-house studio, which will develop cash games. The studio will complement Super Hippo under the company umbrella by producing unique titles using its own technology that are distributed on its proprietary Remote Games Server. 

The company is focused on regulated markets and was granted a recognition notice by the Malta Gaming Authority in December 2022 to go alongside its Romanian licence.
